The "buzz" I hear just before Turkey Day is that Laidlaw hasn't been able to secure financing because of the economic crisis and closing is far from "eminent". Even Noble has lost financing for their wind plant. Let's face the facts, it'll probably be mid 2009 or later before there's movement in the biomass industry in NH. The State has its own financial problems and will be of little help.
This tends to shoot a hole in your theory Matt. If the Laidlaw closing is so eminent, why has Fraser broken their MOA with LLEG and started talking to Clean Power. Remember, Fraser has very close ties to NAD. I don't think this is good news for LLEG stockholders.
