OT-... During those 3 months I lifted everything out of the fridge with my other arm....carried groceries/suitcases that way as well.
the fridge is a killer. thats usually the question I ask when determining,.. is it Tennis elbow?

I had pain in the usual spot...outside of the elbow, it would radiate down my forearm and down the bone on the side 2/3rds of the way to the wrist.

One thing that I find that really helps now and may have helped when it was acute..is to use ice massage after tennis with a bare ice cube for 3 minutes..I do it every time I play now

I've got a hot water recirculator, which means I often have to wait 90 seconds for cold water out of the tap.

Then there is something wrong with your recirc system. Without seeing it I'm guessing a missing/non-functioning check valve or it's incorrectly piped.

The operative word for your problem is: "pull"
Each time you pull something you perpetuate the INFLAMMATION.
Cortisone shots are NOT the answer. Rest is the answer. Also....tape TOGETHER your two middle fingers on your bad arm. This will remind you not to pull the eight pound weights(a gallon of liquid) out of your frig. It's gonna take five to eight weeks of rest before you see any difference. Then get an old tennis ball and start squeezing it to prevent you from losing muscle mass in your forearm.

Pay the receptionist on the way out.<gg>
