There's no way of knowing any of this at this point. I don't understand why people continue to ask the same questions over and over and over again. None of us have magical insight into how much anyone will get paid for this or that.

Do some research. Decide which stocks you want or don't want to invest in and then place your bets.

It blows my mind that people are still asking how much we think this or that will get paid. We don't even have any idea if there will be a buy out, a reemergence from BK, or a liquidation. Once we know the answer to that we still won't have definitive answers as to who's going to get paid what or which stocks will be valued at what price.

I suppose if a buyout is announced then we'll have some clue of who's getting what. If a liquidation is announced we might have a better clue about who's getting what. But seriously...

Sometimes it feels like many people come here looking for cheerleaders. We're in the 4th quarter and down by 35 points with 2 minutes to go and they're looking for the hottest chick that is still waiving her pom poms and screaming we can win it... She might look nice, but there's no basis at all for anything she's saying. yeah we want to believe her, but... why should we?

There are no answers as of now. Most of us are betting that there's enough left over... no matter how this plays out, for us to get paid.

How much... we don't know. We don't even KNOW for a fact that there's even anything for us yet. We think so... but we don't know squat.

Give it a couple of weeks. We should know more soon. But everyone needs to relax. Enjoy some time with your families and loved ones. The world is on the cusp of spiraling out of control...

Don't obsess over this stuff while you could better spend your time enjoying what normalcy we still have left. WaMu will likely be here, probably with many of the same questions abound when you return.
