It's really just the pecimism of the whole situation. There was one stock a little while back that did a huge R/S to save the MM's and screw the shareholders...but their have been many situations where the MM's have had to cover. It boils down to whether or not you believe Gene.
But the numbers we think in, are penny's to MM's, you have to wrap your mind around that.
Because white collar crime pays. Always has. Just look at how Paulson started throwing money at wall street when the CEO's who ran their firms into the ground started crying that the sky is falling. Maybe the sky was falling but it was due to their own greed and mismanagment. We are a welfare state and corporate welfare will always come first.
