Ok, what can Intel do at 90nm in the next year and a half to put pressure on AMD and why would AMD customers be gone if they are not at 90nm soon ? A 2.6 Ghz 130nm K8 performs exactly the same as a 2.6 Ghz 90nm K8, the important bit is to reach 2.6 GHz as opposed to the 2.2 Ghz bulk 130nm is stuck on.What process size used is really quite immaterial in a $700 product. SOI and K8 have both delivered at 130nm, 90nm is just a logical progression and not essential anytime soon imo.
