I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but sounds to me like one more step in controlling an unruly population (in addition to all the invasions of privacy in the name of national security). Have you noticed the proliferation of ads for drugs aimed directly at the consumer lately?

So, does this mean we will soon abandon the charade of democracy altogether, munch our "Soma" and live happily ever after in the Brave New World? Hey, maybe we should try dropping "happy pills" over Iraq and Saudi Arabia. . .
