mas, you don't really believe that, do you?

90nm is nice but not really *that* important at the moment.

The whole AMD strategy right now relies on ramping K8 on 90nm this year in coordination with 64-bit Windows release. Intel is vulnerable now, not in another year. AMD did succeed in an orderly introduction of 64-bit parts and cast Intel as the follower; however, that will all be for naught if AMD is not leading the world to 64-bit volume rollout later this year.

When the giant is stumbling, if you don't give him a hard shove he will recover and eat you!

mas, 90nm is nice but not really *that* important at the moment. While 130nm SOI K8 can be sold at an asp for more than it takes to make AMD will be happy. 90nm could be quite comfortably delayed another year from now imo before it started to bite and was actually needed.

This is neither an investor´s point of view, nor is it AMD´s, and the reasons for that are so obvious and have been discussed so many times here that I don´t see the need to repeat them again.
