pgerassi, you ignore the practical aspects of bringing up production on a given geometry and wafer size. Throwing resources at 90nm on 300mm has to take resources away from someplace, and that someplace is other work on 300mm. It has to impact 65nm, to argue otherwise is to be living in an idealized world of unlimited resources - manpower, equipment and knowlege.
