If I were a New Yorker I certainly wouldn't want my tax dollars subsidizing additional capacity in the semiconductor business especially if the venture only owned designs for the second best product.

Kind of like bailing out the big three auto makers. I wonder
if Hector and Dirk fly around on private jets.
