What would be even nicer is if there were product builds geared to AMD chips in addition to Intel chips. Not hard to do in the open source community but most Windows shops build with MSVC++ with Pentium optimizations.

Patience. The first one ever, designed for and on AMD processors is on the way from Microsoft. In addition, Windows version designed on and for AMD processors will become the next mainstream OS in about 12 to 18 months.

What more could you ask for? Well, better timing, but other than that...
