they should have known and would have sold out... but if they got caught they definitely took a hit. I think they are sticking with the pay out plan now since the price is far too depressed from normal trading where it was prior to the drop.
so they will either buy in to off set the loss with hopes they can recover or will hold what they got and obstain from chasing their loss as probably directed from higher... take your lumps and move on....
