When voice recorder speech translation technology is developed to run on a small hand held the size of the MXP...now that would be something.
E.Digital has shown us an ability to match a voice input to a corresponding text output and play a music recording matched to the text.
I do not see it to be much of a leap to match a voice input to a corresponding text output and play a speech translation recording matching the text.
"home and play" IMO e.Digital is closer than any of us are aware of. Their patent on voice recording based on the file system of the MOS and manipulation of recorded files on flash is the key.
They have shown what is capable of an inexpensive device.
Now it would be up to the industry to take it to the next level. For now we just sit and watch e.Digital trek froward on their own.
