Dear Keitern,

Not sure I follow all your points about the "masses" and their communicators and cars. Am certainly no fan of governmant bailouts and have been a "working stiff" my whole life, never on welfare; am a Viet Nam Vet, a C3150 at USAH Saigon June 15 1972 till March 31 1973, took the last regular army plane out, a recipiant of the BSM. When and if you run for president of the USA, I'l consider your canidicy.

I respectfully disagree GTC's problems are all self inflicted. Please understand this does mean mistakes have not been made. Attempting to get a transgenic drug through the regulatory agencies by a small biotech company is a daunting task. i refer you to the Canadian "White Paper" which has been published on this site. It is easy to look back and find things the company might have done differently, but if we are honest we can also say that about our own investment decisions. The problems for GTC have not been managements opacity, sure we would all like to know what the companies we are investing in are up to at all times, but that is not the way it works. One of the oldest sayings on the Street is,,,"Stocks do not provide a college education". If you can't handle that..stick to goverment bonds.

GTC has always had one big problem...That is they have always been underfunded. It is the great problem a publicly traded small cap biotech has in pursuing transgenics. The regulators stretch out the funding requirements and management must continue to try get get money to fund their operation until the day arrives when they develop a self sustaining revenue. When could that day arrive..IMHO it would come on the day GTC has enough clinical evidence Atryn treatment improves the mortality rate in DIC. What are the chances and when??? First we must all realise there is a possibility it wont work. If that happens I see little chance of GTC remaining in any form close to the one we know now. If it does work.. the pathophysiology is compelling, and the KS subset is encouraging, we could know within a year.

I encourage you all to examine our current predicament as free of anger as you can. The LFB loan gives us time, gives us hope.
