I own and use my SteamBuddy often. It took a few minutes to actually figure out how to use it and master it so I understand why some people might think it doesn't work when in reality they just didn't know how to work it. A lot of people reported on this board buying it, loving it, and getting more as gifts.

And I don't say that about just any of their products either. I have little to nose use for Zorbeez and Hercules Hook, for example. EZ Foldz I have and like, but it's not exactly life changing lol.

Here's some solid, detailed reviews of SteamBuddy that kind of confirm what I say:

"My first impression is that it works fairly well. I think it is one of the gadgets that needs a little practice to master."

"On the down side, there was not a dry cleaner to be found. That's when a gizmo like the Steam Buddy comes in handy; it's lightweight and portable but powerful enough to make a wrinkled wedding gown picture perfect."

"Five Bona-Fide Hits: Awesome Auger, HD Vision, Perfect Pullup, Peticure & Steam Buddy"
"I gave this item a 6 out of 7"

OK. Got them today. Susan is very pleased. "Better than an iron" she says. She has tried it on several different trousers, suits, shirts, etc. Really a good product. We will be getting more of them for gifts. Taking one to use and one as a gift to Scotland. Truly worth the money.

Yes. Wife bought one to take on a trip. Worked great. After getting home, she has put away the ironing board and uses the Steam Buddy instead. Won't be without one. GREAT PRODUCT. Don't understand any problem with it at all.

A review by a TV station on SteamBuddy out just last night:

"It did a nice job taking the wrinkle out, a little water in there. A lot of that has to do with how you hold the trigger. You can't press it too fast."

One more review....obviously there are a lot of people that like it and recommend it to others. I would think this one has some staying power, but I'm not exactly in their target demographic to know for sure.

What they said. We'll see soon enough if Steam Buddy and Myplace etc are as good as I think, or VBDG thinks. After all it's the buyers that count.
