You tried to claim Intel sold 100K Itanics in 2003, and your proof was an article saying they had 100M in revenue. But since Itanic sells for well over $1000

I2's 1000 unit *list price* is ~$750, ~$1k, ~$2k, and ~$4k
for the Deerfield, 1.3, 1.4, and 1.5 GHz Madison variants
respectively. Obviously in larger quantities the price will be
discounted. For example SGI alone bought over 12,000 I2s
in its first year of selling the Altix 3000.

BTW, according to the Gartner data the average I2 server
sold for $45k or more than ten times the price of the most
expensive speed grade I2. But the average Opteron server
sold for $3k, less than the price of the most expensive speed
grade Opteron. That's some weird numbers considering the
average Opteron server seems to have somewhere between
1.5 and 2 CPUs in it. The facts seem to show that it is AMD
giving chips away, or at least significantly discounting them.

That's going to be hard to argue with.

Maybe they sold 50K, gave away 30K, and 20K were replacements for the defective 900mhz and 1Ghz chips?
