There have been many reports that it works very well. I have been very pleased myself. Red wine on white carpet...so glad I had my Winning Colors handy!

stormy yes smell goes away. put a little on you hands. smell your hands then wait 10-15 secounds and smell them again. i have found that using a cloth not paper towels works a lot better also.
