NexMed Inc. (NEXM) said Monday that its third-quarter net loss widened to $3 million, or 4 cents a share, from a net loss of $2 million, or 2 cents a share, a year earlier.

The company said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that revenue rose to $305,943 from $296,390.

Shares of the East Windsor, N.J., drug developer traded recently at 13 cents, up 2.4%.
