Jeeper... I didn't see where DBrunner used the word scam? Could you point out to me where he said this outstanding company is a SCAM?

I saw where he said that this company and it's CEO sell a whole lot of shares though!

"(except for selling lots and lots of stock)".

Al, I got into DPBM in late May / early June of '06 (or was it '07?), anyway the year it went to a buck after its creation. I read about the El Salvador biz in Lost Treasure magazine; sold the Flexpoint stock I had; and bought a wad of Dip Blew. I later sold the DPBM, bought a different BTS [Bad Treasure Stock], then got back into DPBM.
The litany of stuff & nonsense announcements stretches all the way back to that spring. WB got stuck with the flatboat when Rik Luytjens sold him a bill of goods (El Sal + the Dip Scan). WB said that 'inland contracts' with Jim Cross would pay for the company ops and the trez hunting would be paid-for gravy. I won't list all the hoo-raw, but WB didn't listen to people, always doing his own thing--like choosing a non-treasure wreck in the DR. This last PR is the latest attempt to mask that fact. Ain't no big trez on the Scipion.

I dumped the stock after the 'Ledge wreck' deal blew up. There are still varying opinions about whether or not Randal & Liber had a real wreck. I believe they did, but they didn't want to give WB the location until he paid them with big wads of stock, which he allegedly never did.
I haven't seen their wreck come to light, and (like the El Salvador) it might be claim-jumped by the Spanish if it did--since it was purported to be a Veracruz galleon. What that whole debacle taught me was that (IMO) WB wasn't interested in finding treasure. When my Old Man and I shot pool in the '80s and I'd miss a shot I should've made, he'd say, "You hate success..". Sort of like that with WB, I think (except for selling lots and lots of stock).

Yah, I remember the patch. Ever read "Chickenhawk"? Good book about the Ia Drang battle. When I had 3 days to go, the dinks came off the mountain and blew up some 4th Admin clerks with satchel charges. They didn't get to our AO, but we were all woke up & armed to the teeth.

There is no treasure on the Scipion.(IMO) I never ever believed there to be any treasure on the Scipion. I have said over and over again that the Scipion would be a stepping stone for Deep Blue. The crew is all heart and give it their all. However, the stock in this company and the way things were managed are not desirable to me.
