Thank you GK, really appreciate the post.
Unfortunately, as I read it I now realize that nothing written about Integral, short of actual sales announcements (as opposed to more future expectations) will elicit any positive feelings about this equity.
This article says the exact same stuff about Electriplast that we have read about since at least 2003, with a few tweaks. It simply regurgitates the same statements about comparisons to copper. These stories come from company press releases or planted stories in publications that by their own accounts have never tested Electriplast for themselves or seen it in action. Integral said in 2007 that third-party testing confirming these assertions were conducted. Those results were never released. Integral claimed those results could not be released for fear of compromising the secrecy behind the material. To this day I have never understood that claim. The results would merely confirm what the company claims Electriplast can do, NOT disclose how they do it or what the pellets are constructed of. In the end, whether from the company, the EE Times or MPW, all of these claims are based on believing the company without any verification.
As for 2009, I was wondering when the talk would segue from 2008 to 2009 and how they would do it. In 2005 they said sales would occur by that fall. In 2006, on Tech Talk with Craig Peterson they said 2007 would see sales. In 2007 they put out a press release saying 2008 would see commercial success. Now in 2008 they say they expect sales in 2009. I just see no reason to put any faith in what this company says it will do . . . until it actually does it.
I would say 2009 is “put up or shut up time” but I would feel rather silly since I said that in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
