Wickenburg is definitely not a ghost town.
Lots and lots of development, numerous dude ranches and cattle ranches. Dramatic growth the last few years because of it's proximity to Phx.
Know to have hundreds of gold claims and abandon mines in the area. Couple of years ago, a couple of young girls drove a ATV into one. Think one of them was tragically killed.
They're a pretty big hazard but state has no funds to secure them.
This PR was necessary because if they didn't put one out, everyone would have bitchin about how they promised a PR and didn't deliver.
