I would just keep in mind that the entire junior resource sector got blindsided by the credit crunch, and, on avarage, junior exploration stocks are down about 90-95% from the all time highs they reached within the last couple years. Even junior producers are down about 80-90%. You could have picked almost any company in the sector and gone bankrupt.
Tara's business model looked good, when the times were good, but now it will be a tough climb back. Finding other junior companies to bring properties to production will be a tough sell when other companies cannot get financing. Our best hope is for a producing company with cash flow to enter into a joint venture agreement on one or more of our properties.
As for me, I will continue to hold my shares for possible better times - they wouldn't bring me enough money if I sold them anyway. Looking on the bright side of things, as I always try to do, there are some incredible deals in the resource sector right now. On Friday I was grateful for the opportunity to start accumulating shares in a Uranium company that presents what may be one of the best buyout opportunity for the next year.
