#6150 RE: flydoc #6149

I am sure that many of the people attending the meeting made a weekend trip out of it (in light of the fact that most government offices and exchanges are closed today). I am sure that some of the longs will post additional information regarding the meeting on Monday when everything cranks up again. I too am awaiting information from people who attended the meeting though. Joe.

Flydoc,

From my point of view all the information I can get from those able to attend will be most welcome, and will earn my gratitude, considering that I was unable to make it to the meeting. In the meantime, without shunning the RB as being totally off limits (not my view, and I can put the bashers on "iggy" whenever I want), a few valuable comments are already available.

My personal anthology:

I was at the meeting today. Some good information. BMG has committed to using MediaMax on ALL US releases by Oct 1, 2004. They will be using the technology on ALL world wide releases by Jan 1, 2005. The revenue will come into QTIG who will then pay the royalty to Sunn. This arrangement will allow us to see the revenue in QTIG's reporting. There is more (the BMG news is the highlight), but I don't have time to post right now. Fire away with questions and I will post more in the next few days as I have more time.

As has been stated previously, Sunn will move to full reporting once they have a second deal done with one of the 5 major labels. Sounds like it may very well be later this year.

My point is that you will be able to see how much revenue is going to Sunn. That in itself will take the pps higher. You can gripe about reporting all you want while I am counting my money. QTIG IS fully reporting and will allow us to see how much money is officially flowing from the record labels.

They also showed a revenue report done by BMG that demonstrated over $600,000 in extra income that BMG recieved secondary to 2 CDs with MediaMax protection. This information has been shared with the other 4 major labels and had them salavating (=salivating) over our technology.

I went to the meeting and am now home in San Diego. Thank god cause Phoenix is a dump. I have been fed up with Peter and have been very critical of him and the things he has done recently. I have to admit I am now a believer again. I hate to think that I could have been won over so easily but that is the case. The staff seem to be excited and committed. I met people that have known Peter for twenty years. I think Peters fault is putting timelines on things. After today I believe in our product and just think things are going to take until the end of the year to really ramp up the revenue. I think we will have a major contract announced soon. If I had more money I would buy more. I own 1 million shares now and would double down if I could. Targets .40 by 7/30/04, $1.00 by 8/15/04 and $3.00 by Christmas.

Here's a few encouraging details that I took away from the meeting - 1) From Whitmore - BMG will set a mandate on October '04 that Sunncomm's Technology be used on all labels/subsidiaries of BMG. Worldwide Implementation by January 1st, 2004. 2) Profitability chart from the Finance department of BMG (not from sunncomm) showing the $ amounts of the extra money they made because of Sunncomm - for Hamilton's release - $454,000 3) Full page ad on the back of Billboard magazine with "We guarantee that artists and labels who use Sunncomm's MediaMax on their CDs enjoy an average of 25% lower sales drop-off in formative first weeks following a new release compared to those who chose not to use the industry's best copy management, protection and enhancement technology." 4) There was something else about EMI, that I don't know if I got it right.. - seemed to be an implication that another major(s) are very soon to signing some kind of deal. That's all, we'll see how this plays out the following months... with BMG's Worldwide deployment.
