BTW, I read several posts today that here it is winding down on 2008 and we've only drilled and completed 1 well...

Actually, I too stand corrected, 2 wells have been drilled and completed by Hemi to date in 2008; Collins and Weseloh.

Did everyone, including KA, forget about Weseloh?

Nope but the news and drilling findings of the Collins pulled all attention away from the Weseloh as well as allow Hemi to shift it's approach and drilling game plan due to the Collins findings............I believe it's now a horizontal drill process? However, just to be clear, the Weseloh is still there, producing jack pump and all.

Remember the plan was to drill 3 wells back to back to back since they were all funded and had a rig ready to roll.

bdahl385, this is where you need you go back and review. The plan was to file the NOI's, prepare the three sites to be drilled and to move forward from there. I mention to review the information because all three sites are not next to each other, Weseloh and Driskill are abot 5 miles from the collins site. Also if you recall, Hemi dealt with the weather/rain issue this past spring and summer and due to this held off on the Driskill site at the time. And yes now that is is dry, and Hemi has completed the Collins, resources and focus is now being placed on the Collins and the immediate sites around the Collins. The Driskill is there, the NOI has been files, but given the results of Collins and now the moving forward of horizontal drilling involving the Collins, what would you do?

Driskill never happened because Collins was too good (?) and the plans changed to save the money to exploit the Collins lease.

Yes the Collins is good however the plans did not change for this reason only, again go back and read a number of posts provided here on this board during from March thru Aug and then for further understanding do a review of the rainfall in SEK during the spring and summer and then finally pull up a map and not the location of the Driskill. Again the prudent decision was to wait on the Driskill given hese factors that developed in 2008 from the weather to the Collins findings

Can someone tell me again about the production results from our other 2008 well, Weseloh???

In time bdahl385.........in time, but the Weseloh does have an operating jack pump on the site so IMO just as the other operating Hemi leases sites, the Weseloh too is contributing to the overall Hemi business plan by providing to the overall oil production that develops the revenue needed to allow Hemi to continue it's Monthly Cash Flow positive trend and remain Debt Free.

Yup nothing like being that Monday morning quarterback!!
