Politicians in general serve few better than themselves.

Bush/Cheney - what a disaster for this country.

Democratic Black Caucus/Acorn - largely responsible for the Community Reinvestment Act which essentially pressurev banks to make loans to subprime borrowers with Fannie/Freddie money. But, they were against tighter regulation of said instituions.

Barney Frank - God help us. This idiot is the chair of the House Financial Service Committee?? His lover was put in charge of Fannie Mae lending programs. Is that not a political move in an instituition designed to be an exchanger of conservative lending practices and loans.

We have corruption and idiots consuming our government. We don't really have a say in our government as individuals because we as individuals don't have the money to employ lobbyists. Therefore the government gets the views of business and special interests.

If length of time in office is the qualifier for becoming the head of a Committee, then should we apply that to the school system and make the janitor with 38 years of service the head of the school district? It would never happen, but it does all the time in politics.

I vote for term limits as a start.
