In short if FTD trade has occurred 6 days before Oct.17th then it must be covered in 13 trade days.(Nov 4th) There is also a one time phase in and it is 35 days,(for options as well as stock)on the 36th day a cover must take place Dec.8th This is the new law,with that said keep in mind;laws get broken each and every day.
