#31033 RE: venomen2002 #31004

Although I would agree that Telmex may have ran a trial of a first ever Dial Tone 2.0 service using mobilevoice, I don't think most long term shareholders of Onev, with the exception of a few, would agree that Telmex "launched" the first Dial Tone 2.0 service. In my mind "Telmex launch" would mean roll out to all of their subscribers with full complementary marketing blitz. Running a trial to a subset of Telnor simply doesn't cut it. I just hope that Telmex and MTNL aren't repeat of past Onev "contract" PRs. I still remember March 13, 2003 PR titled "Fortune 50 Company Begins Trial Use of MobileVoice Assistant™. I also remember January 14, 2003 PR titled "One Voice Awarded Carrier Contract For MobileVoice™ In Europe", followed by May 18, 2004 PR called "Montan Telecom Signs Deal to Offer One Voice's MobileVoice™ Service in Europe. In each instance, the language was similar to the Telmex and MTNL PRs, and we never heard from them again.

Montan Telecom: "developer of 4th Generation voice solutions for the Telecom and Interactive Multimedia markets, today announced that Montan Telecom AG has signed a multi-year agreement with One Voice to offer the German language version of One Voice's MobileVoice service to Montan Telecom's subscribers in Germany, Austria and Liechtenstein.."

Fortune 50 company: "developer of 4th Generation voice solutions ...today announced that it has completed installation of their MobileVoice Assistant for pre-purchase, trial use at the corporate headquarters of a Fortune 50 company."

large European carrier: "developer of 4th Generation voice solutions ...today announced that they were awarded a contract with a large European carrier and will begin installation of MobileVoice over the next several weeks. Details of the agreement will be available at a later date through this carrier."

On October 30, 2006, One Voice announced awarding of Telmex contract. Then on December 6, 2006, One Voice announced their intention to complete installation and begin testing in Mexico before the end of the year. That was end of 2006. Nearly two years have passed and Telmex is still doing "focus groups"? I heard all of the excuses of how Telmex is in control and how they were restructuring and how they were interested in additional features which delayed the project. I hope that's true. However, 2 years is a life time in technology. If Telmex was indeed enamored with Mobilevoice, I have to wonder, would they still be running "focus groups" after waiting 2 whole years on a holy grail technology? What if someone else came up with "Dial Tone 2" service while they were twiddling their thumbs? They would lose out on being the first to market the holy grail technology. Now that would be dumb. I have heard things can take time in Mexico but would a competitive telecom carrier run by Carlos Slim be so obtuse as to drag it out this long even when they are completely satisfied with everything Onev has to offer? For the sake of my investment in Onev, I sure hope so.
