Krays, in theory Cyberbub is correct. Life or death! No treatment equals certain death. Treatment equals life or death.

Ok, so here's how I can put it...

In some cases, no matter whatever you do, the heart is damaged and will never recover. From the statistics I've read, about 40% of heart attack victims never make it to the hospital.

Suppose you have a device that can support the heart until the person gets to the hospital. Well, for the 40% that end up in sudden death, it's unlikely many will be saved. But for the 60% that need support until their underlying condition can be stabilized, then supported until their heart is able to support itself seems to be a strong reason to have this type of device out there.

And here's the bigger picture... If this device can support the heart, preventing further damage, the chance of recovery increases.

Regular CPR and medical care (drugs) are the standard right now. Yes, they work. But if you've been there, you'd know that they're not all that fabulous.

A device that is inserted quickly and with minimal adverse effects seems quite promising. Support the heart until it comes out of a crisis would seem to be quite beneficial to me, as a medical person.

Don't buy shares on my opinion. I'm just answering your question.

Whether BIPH can make it work for them and create revenue, I don't know.

All the best,

Tet

PS---Cyberbub, I don't often check the email address I sent to you. But I'll keep it on record. And I do have the number in case of emergencies. :-)
