You are correct that family and friends would be gone, that is, if they chose to NOT live forever. I guess it would have to be a strong personal choice to decide on either way.

As far as money and lifestyle? Living forever would at least give me a longer chance to recoup all my portfolio losses of the last 3 years. <g>
