I agree AMD will argue that. Corporations do have different classes of shares. Such as voting and non-voting shares.

With this deal, it appears the existing fabs plus process IP are valued such that 2.1B = 55%. So approx $4 B for the entire TFC. If TFC gets another $4 B from Abu Dhabi (for NY fab), AMD's share will shrink to 25%. I just can't imagine that a 75% owner will allow a 25% owner to have control. Even if in name only.
