Djharker, I had the same thought

Removing the 10% future rights clause – for some of the patents – should not affect any short term financing arrangements - 5 years or less. It could however have an impact on a longer-term arrangement – partnership, buyout, acquisition, etc. Clearing out future obligations is more important under those circumstances. Hmmm.

djharker.....basically everything you say is correct but think about what "hogger" has stated (and he knows).
The possiblity of a pending litigation would a turn off many, if not all, to say the least and 10%!!!!
Thats quite a bite out of a corporation. The structure of the deal had problems and who wants problems.
The science is difficult enough - who needs more possible problems with Hemco.
Besides the logic of it finally being settled should tell all something - like good news!!!
