Well, the way I see it is that I could go out and buy a motorboat rather than a deep ocean tanker, but that does not somehow make investing in a deep ocean tanker company a bad idea. I can't cruise around a local lake and enjoy the tanker, but that is a separate issue from whether the tanker company will make money as an investment. Now, transfer that set of observations to Spooz. Spooz is a stock that may be worth investing in. It may not. But whether or not I can use it as a little guy is a separate issue than whether its a candidate for turning a profit and whether this warrants it being a part of my portfolio.

So, whether I can personally use it or not, the question is "Will I make money if I buy Spooz in anticipation of the benefits of the Bloomberg deal playing out favorably?" This is a question for everyone to answer according to their level of risk tolerance, but the question of personal usage of a Bloomberg-centric version of SpoozToolz is a separate issue, IMHO.

Spooz has consistently said that they eventually will offer SpoozToolz to the "little guy". What you will get is the basic tool without the AutoSpreader and Custom Pricing, etc. These will be available at extra cost.

Bear in mind that this is not a "subset" or "cut down" version of SpoozToolz, it just doesn't come with all the extra stuff that the Pro version does.

Right now they are selling the whole package as SpoozToolzPro at a cost of something like $700/month.

You can also get SpoozChartz right now - ask IW how he likes it.

The main reason they are not persuing the retail market right now is the because of the need to have a large support staff once us dummies start to use it. I see a book with a yellow cover in the future titled "SpoozToolz for Dummies".
