Many htings always puzzled me about the export license...

1. A license is for a specific time period so how long or when does it expire.

2. If GBDX got one they, they ere either easy to get or they knew someone high up in the gov or the mob

3. If it was so valuable, then why not brandish it?

4. The license was the most convincing and valuable reason for a buy-out or merger before it ever happened. If there are only two of them in existance, why has it not been used?

I asked these things last year. I got no responses. If I had, I would have asked one more question that I was not understanding:

5. GBDX owns no mines, just importing stones to the US and selling them, if they ever really had any sales. Just like Walmart has stuff delivered to them to sell on their shelves. So, Why did they need an export license if they were just getting a fedex box delivered to them. The PRs announced that Others were cutting, polishing, and shipping the stones and not GBDX.

It always sounded more like they needed an import license in the US than an export license in Russia.
