No dog, it is not a new format for BioCurex nor a new format for a lot of others that are working on saliva tests. Goshen was using a slightly modified RECAF chemiluminescence assay which was the same assay adapted to Abbotts analyzer.
There was no change in format, only in sample type. Do a google search and you will find lots of research being done on detecting other markers in saliva. The advantage of this type of sample is the ease of collection. If if parallels the sensitivity of a blood test, you may see more of the tests shifting to saliva as a sample but IMO, it will take a long time to convert if there is no improvement in detection.
