Chances are, kray, the company probably does not want to make easy access to their patents since so many 'thieves' are out there and are happy to change a nut or bolt in order to call it a different product.
CTGI's CEO recently requested we remove patent numbers from the IBox. Why make patent searches any easier for the competition than they already are (actually, patent searches can be quite difficult and/or expensive, unless one has the number they are looking for)?
