too many possible factual variations to predict what is the specific plan (makes my head hurt); rather, it seems that this can only be evaluated in terms of general intent at this point.
so, one of the obvious questions - who is really responding to the emails. if it really is rp, does that mean he has nothing better to do (would seem to be a negative implication), or that his present motive is to keep things at bay until the entire scheme can be put into place and the insiders have squeezed all possible benefit out of the scenario and it's too late for anyone motivated enough to take any viable action to put the kibash on it (even worse implications); or he is realistically concerned with the shareholders who have put their money and faith into the company (certainly positive inplication, but what are the chances). if it is the pr man (what is his name again), would think that is also a negative, and indicative of the likelihood that this is a result of the second above listed possibility (deal with the propriety of this later?).
Realistically, and regardless of the true circumstances, any real longs have no choice but to hang on and hope for the best, unless they need an immediate tax loss. yes, glta, including me. arghh!
