Whatever anyone wants to call it, the American people as a whole are saying he won by a fairly wide margin. Outside of the bogus Drudge poll, all of the other polls are showing up to a two to one margin for Obama. This indicates the people's preference for a change from the start.
I think the fact this country is sliding into a depression due to insanity of Wall Street perps (and this all follows the Enron scandal in which the Bush people were involved up to their eyeballs) as well as the fact that the current administration has had us tied up in a costly war for 5 years, even the little guy is starting to realize the Republicans were never on his side.
We have had politics for those who are worth over 10 to 20 million dollars. Unfortunately for the bad guys, most Americans can't even dream of such a lifestyle They are due for a better break unless the powers that be want to face massive civil unrest. The little guy is past the breaking point, it would seem.
