Well, I meant cleared up from the perspective that the company is clued in enough to know that silence could be taken as admission of some things stated in that "report" (or inability to prove otherwise). After the things that were published, I can't imagine that the company is NOT being asked for direct and public answers to put everyone's mind at ease. The silence is odd, truth or not or whatever else. But it was an interesting "coincidence" that the US auditor claim was quickly retracted after the report came out.
