I figure they will play games until Monday and then do something to disrupt everything for the end of the quarter.

I agree. the short selling rule needs massaging...
What they should have done is made the DTCC clear all the current "IOUs" (aka Naked Shorts) and require them to clear all new shorts in three days....or face prison time! Forget fines...they have enough money to cover them.
