good that this tech is finally making in to handsets as preloads--- and now perhaps the ATT's etc will jump in and drag along NEOM as their own brand of sorts.
bad that it wasn't us and that apparantly scanbuy is flaunting their patent disobedience in our own faces---
did not many here say don't count on preloads until that issue is resolved???
I would think that having someone's reader preloaded on a phone is a big deal for all.
Seeing how sb is a privately held company, we don't know how much they will make or how much they gave away.
There have been readers everywhere but here for how many years now. We know the Asian countries are light years ahead of the US.
My guess is that Samsung will limit the operations in the US...I still believe that the Telecoms are the ones in the driver's seat. Just look back to Asian phone companies to see how they get revenus from the code readers.
