Of course their activity has increased. They want to cover as soon as possible, so want low prices to do it and need panic longs to sell - it's that simple. Unfortunately for them, they can't get the volume needed, especially when they have to compete for shares with longs adding and the company buyback. They'll will see the error of their ways soon and just be happy with keeping it at $.03, then...squeeze after some great news.

Be patient or just sell and help the shorts do the same to other stocks (people do what works). It's time to take a stand IMO.
