I noticed on I-Hub that it has > 600K shares traded today yet my Schwab account only has ~ 300K. Any idea what that's all about?
Well, as you said, we have sustainability in volume but not green...as of yet. I imagine we'll get some more late session buying exuberance which may bump us up into big green again, but you never know around here. Heck, the way things go, ALL the shorts could cover their ~ 3 mil shares in the high $7/low $8 price range and then we would lose all of our recent "buying enthusiasm" as I imagine shorts covering is the current driver of this craziness. LOL
The gold PR was pretty much the same old stuff we've heard for 20 years and nothing ever comes of it but continuation of someone's money sink pet project (summer vacation spot?). It never has contributed a dime to the bottom line. I think if gold is starting to regain investor confidence, then this would be a VERY opportune time to sell it all, lock, stock and barrel and use those millions (if that's even a reality) to buy PDO, ASPN, more shut-in wells/properties, drill more wells and INCREASE oil & gas production a lot further.
