Streetstylz,

When I read the blog's article, a different thought came to mind.

What if that is CTIA's way of leveling the playing field. Require NEOM to license scamby's technology to read ezcode and requiring scamby to license NEOM's technology so as to comply with the law. It seems as a wash to me.

Just thinking outloud!

If Iain gets happy ...

.... I'll get very guardedly less cynical.

When someone , anyone meaningful , signs anything meaningful with us , things might get better. For NeoMedia , for YAGI , and maybe ... maybe ... for us.

Meanwhile talk of "signing licensing agreements with CTIA, all 5 US carriers" etc etc makes me want to barf after hearing about all the other stuff we have been going to sign and who has been going to invest in NeoMedia , blah blah.

NeoMedia is the Rodney Dangerfield of the mobile ad. space ... it gets no respect ... and Rodney has more money.

JMO and outta here

Hi streetstylz, As I mentioned last week, Scanbuy starts the game with the lead in the first inning. The U.S. carriers are going to endorse the Scanbuy's technology. We know that Scanbuy only promotes the Ezcode and can only read the Ezcode in the US.

If you used the indirect access model, the type of code would not matter. On the other hand, if you use the direct access model then the type of code would matter.
