From what I understand, NeoMedia's push for an indirect ecosystem has come to fruition and will be implemented by CTIA and supported by all 5 US carriers.


As Iain stated:

I see this as a very positive development for NeoMedia.

(edited to add): Even though Scanbuy uses a proprietary symbology (EZcode), Scanbuy is still using indirect encoding for the EZcode resolution process, thus infringing on NeoMedia's patents.

But he came late, probably after they made up their mind. He's the new kid on the block, so will he have any sayso? I doubt it.

Goes back to having consistency of employees, not a swinging door.
