Friend of mine at work, said she heard on the news that Saddam Hussein is subsidizing families of suicide bombers... i.e. if one of you is willing to blow yourself up, I will make sure there is money to feed and educate the rest of you... what a stinkin' bastard... no regard whatsoever for the lives of his people. Reprehensible. Gives credence to Friedman's assertion that suicide bombing is a military strategy... too bad the desperate are the ones carrying it out.
I cannot believe how blessed I am to live in this country.
