good point.. the banks cared more about shooting for profits than their own solvency. what are these banks ? nothing but usurious middle men. The money they loan isn't even their own, it's the depositors. Wachovia ceo on Cramer last night was spinning it as a positive that they have 300B in deposits and 500B in money loaned out.
