you may need to decipher from context. you involuntarily, judged it to the extreme conclusion. it is not the true interpretation of what was meant.
here is the sentence "true, buys make a stock go up, sells make a stock go down, and at times they stall or even go down, even after buys outpace sells. this is a pink, where demand and supply have no meaning."

it means demand supply is in, but has no meaning. it is a challenge to support and relate to it from the trading till now. when short position is unknown, it(d-s) becomes uneven. if naked shorting is on, it increases this challenge
