I'm not really that surprised by the LEH situation. In my opinion, the next nightmare that most people probably don't see yet is MER. I really hope I'm wrong, but the fact is, you can't make risky/shady $300k+ loans to people who only make $30k per year and still expect to live like you're crapping dollar bills.
