Picture - seems to me, that a few things changed, but the
overall impression is right ...
I have no power consumption for integrated chipsets on hand,
but I tend to think, that these are also relativly small and
(of course) way smaller then an external GPU. Would be
interesting to get datas for the new processes, because VIA
wanted to go from 0,23m to 0,18m and I think Nvda wanted to
convert from 0,18m to 0,15m - and FlipChip is also reaching
the 3rds (like Intel), so we can reduce power consumption
again.
The second topic - DA/AD converting - I have to search at
NSM, TI or ADI for that stuff, but I'm 99,9% sure, that
these analog devices consume only a few milliwatts.
