That certainly is a possibility. I don't trust many politicians.
I may actually sit this election out since I don't like any of the choices.
However, in looking at the game of chess Bush is playing with Russia, I'm getting frightened with the republican mindset. They are too quick with rushing to war. Look at what's happening in the country of Georgia. Bush has our navy in one of their ports. In response, Russia will have their navy in the carribean hosted by Venezuala. These games are getting scary. Our republican administration has been too quick on fighting. McCain is too much like Bush in this regard.
After Iraq, Bush doesn't have the moral authority to tell Russia to stay out of Georgia. Especially, since Georgia is the one that opened hostilities.
I may end up voting for Obama simply to avoid McCain. I had been leaning towards McCain until he chose Palin. Choosing her for VP without proper vetting shows a lack judgement on his part. The VP pick is the most important pick a Presidential candidate can make. Biden was a much better pick than Palin. Unless of course, you are amoung the country's radical religious right wing. for them, it was an outstanding pick.
Time will tell who I actually vote for. I'm sure we will learn more about all of the candidates by election day.
