Yeah, I kind of figured it was something like that. Well, hopefully the US demand will continue to wane, forcing them to lower the gas prices more. Then they'll only make 10 billion instead of 40 billion, LOL; poor babies (of course, look how supply & demand has worked for gold & silver, LOL).

I've been hearing some politicians lately talking about using natural gas instead of the regular gasoline as a possible alternative. They say it would be a cheaper, cleaner fuel, plus they claim we have lot more of it in this country compared to oil. So maybe the natural gas alternative will pick up some momentum. They also said it's not a long-term solution, but that maybe it would buy us a little more time to get some other alternative energies developed. I never trust politicians though, so don't know if that would actually work or not.
